‘Letting Go’ – Acrylic on Canvas Famed in American Oak Float Frame

Letting Go – was painted initially after the devastating storms that ravage our local community in 2021, after sitting with them for a year or so I decided that what they represented to me had changed. Like healing had come, and they needed to change, lightness flow and pockets of joy (the Gold markings) were being found again amongst life’s storm and the cycle of letting go and renewing is a continual one. These paintings are influenced by the beauty found in trusting in letting go of the heaviness of the past and remembering to slowly breathe in the moment you are now in.
