What a pleasure this painting has been – nice to work on a larger size and a more relaxed and messy medium! Well for me anyway, such a difference to Watercolour! This painting came after a lovely week camping by the sea with my family sitting under the shade of this Banksia and watching as it danced so graciously to the coastal breeze.
