This painting honours life’s beautiful moments, the love and support that surrounded us all during the passing of my stepdad, only months after losing my dad, and my gratitude for it. The joyful greens represent the heart space — a symbol of love, healing, and renewal — reminding me that even in grief, love continues to flow, hold us, and grant us the grace to rediscover and appreciate the connections that remained, even in those final months, and my gratitude for this lasting gift.
