If you’re looking for an afternoon with like-minded people being guided on how to paint a lovely Australian Animal in watercolours, then this relaxed and informal workshop is perfect for you.

This workshop has been designed for all levels, including beginners in mind!  I will guide you through some Watercolour basics, including basic colour mixing, brushstrokes, and texture techniques, before walking you through each stage of our final Animal composition.

Make it a creative afternoon out with friends or come alone and meet like-minded people, whilst enhancing your skills in watercolour painting. Finishing with a beautiful artwork you have created to take home, feeling like a true artist!

All necessary painting materials for the workshop are included in the cost. You will leave with a paint palette of leftover paints, plenty of inspiration and a joyful heart. Tea and coffee included.

No experience is required, only an open mind and a willingness to have fun.

It’s open to all ages over 16,  10 – 15-year-olds welcome with a parent participating.

All workshops are run by me, Jodie Westall Kimpton. I am a professional artist, watercolour tutor, and Gallery owner. I have been painting and designing for over 30 years. Watercolour is my favourite medium – it is my daily meditation, my joy, it has been my therapy many times over and is the quiet place where my heart finds clarity when life gets too noisy. Losing myself in my painting is very rejuvenating – I look forward to sharing my art journey and afternoon with you.
