All workshops are run by myself, Jodie Westall Kimpton. I am a professional artist, watercolor tutor, and gallery owner. With over 30 years of experience in painting and design, I am also a graphic designer and jewelry designer with my own brand of meaningful jewelry called ‘Jodee.’ Art is my passion, and I love sharing it with others. xx Jodie

Whether you’re a total beginner or an accomplished artist wanting to learn a new medium there’s sure to be something for you. Workshops topics including Watercolour for Beginners, Colour Theory and Mixing to more specific Botanical or Animal inspired workshops.

Each Workshop is delivered in a relaxed environment where you are to guided gently through each step with plenty of space for conversation, laughter and questions, ensuring you walk away with a greater knowledge of the medium and a happy heart after being surrounded by like minded creative souls.

Jodie currently tutors 3 regular classes a week – 1 for the Mount Evelyn Community House. All classes are popular and usually full however occasionally spots do become available so please get in touch if you are interested on being add to the waiting list.

What’s the difference between Classes and a Workshop?

CLASSES – Weekly Watercolor Classes are for those wanting to commit to regular teaching and art practice. The classes take place during the school term, and students are required to bring their own materials. Classes delve deeper into the topics often covered in specific Workshops, like – Colour Theory, colour mixing, washes, techniques etc.

WORKSHOPS – Workshops are a fantastic introduction to Watercolour. Whether you are a total beginner or an accomplished artist, workshops offer a fun 2- 3 hrs of condensed tutorial. Our Workshops are tailored to specific topics so you can choose what YOU are most interested in. All materials are supplied for use during the workshop, so there is no outlay of expensive materials while you are deciding if it’s for you!
